Welcome to the Norwich Lanes

The Norwich Lanes are a series of alleyways, courtyards and open spaces set just a few steps away from Norwich City Hall.

The medieval architecture is some of the finest to be found anywhere in the UK. Mainly pedestrianised, the Lanes offer something for everyone, morning, noon and night.

Today the Lanes are home to well over 300 independent retailers, cafès, restaurants, pubs and bars. You’ll also find an independent cinema, a community theatre, two museums, several galleries and a whole host of live music venues too.

The Norwich Lanes Association is a voluntary community organisation, dedicated to the preservation of the area as a whole, for its residents, businesses and visitors alike. Enjoy!
