First established by artist, restorer and dealer Joe Fairhurst on Norwich’s Elm Hill in 1949, the Fairhurst Gallery quickly adopted its reputation for working with great artists, such as Edward Seago and Alfred Munnings. Joining him was his son, Tiz who in 1976 first developed the workshop where the Fairhurst team still provide bespoke framing, art restoration and conservation services to the utmost quality.
Now, the Fairhurst Gallery continues to operate to the highest standards, repeatedly showing inspirational works in carefully thought out and cleverly curated exhibitions, building and maintaining relationships and in turn contributing to Norwich’s diverse creative scene.
