The Holloway

The Holloway, meaning ‘tree tunnel,’ is a grassroots micro-venue in the heart of Norwich. It hosts a variety of small-scale musical, literary, and cinematic events in a relaxed, friendly, and welcoming environment.

In addition to its busy events schedule, the Holloway features a carefully curated collection of books, zines, prints, and music for sale. The focus is on publications and merchandise related to the artists, musicians, writers, filmmakers, and others who perform, speak, or screen here.

The vision for the Holloway is to serve as a much-loved creative community hub. During the day, it welcomes a variety of local groups and societies, such as book clubs, knitting circles, and games clubs, all of which use the space free of charge.

The Holloway also offers a small selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a pot of filter coffee always available. Cozy seating creates the perfect atmosphere for hanging out, making friends, and collaborating on artistic projects.
