Exhibition: Supernova

Shug Gallery is excited to announce its upcoming group show Supernova.
Supernova serves as a dual metaphor: it represents both a cosmic explosion of luminosity and an inherent transformation of navigating the world as a woman. The artwork moves away from traditional, rigid definitions of gendered representation. Instead, it embraces ambiguity, portraying the female experience as vast and fluid, yet deeply nuanced.
Through a nuanced blending of figuration, landscape, and still life, Supernova invites viewers to an ethereal and intimate curation of paintings and sculpture. Strong, silky bodies, objects and reflective textures collide in a wondrous kaleidoscope of internal power and radiance.
Exhibition runs from 11th October to 21st October.
- Sunday 11 - Wednesday 21 Oct 2026
- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
