Feathered Thorns Album Launch

The Feathered Thorns perform music from their debut studio album, Spectre Under the Skin. The ten songs which form this record are like theatre sets constructed within rooms; stories imagined written on the walls of bedrooms of abandoned houses, hauntological dreamscapes, slow dances which drift between dread and desire, beginning and end, inhabiting the spaces between living and ghost, intimacy and strangeness.
The evening will be opened by Joey Herzfeld who will perform a selection of his deliciously dark, beautifully crafted original songs on Accordion and Keys which have nods to the cabaret supreme of Weill, Brecht and Waits and tell of hangings and heartbreak.
