Intellectual Hooligans
The “Intellectual Hooligans” are Norwich’s premium Improv comedy troupe, the Improv performers have a collective total of over 1000 years’ experience! The show will consist of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” style games based entirely on audience suggestions, anything goes (and we mean anything!).
Established in 2013 the Intellectual Hooligans have gone from strength to strength in and around Norwich. The format of the show is a “whose line is it anyway?“ short-form style show where the performers play short games based on audience suggestions. Audience participation is very much encouraged and we thrive on interactive and enthusiastic audience members.
The troupe has grown in both size and quality, recruiting members with experience in improv comedy outside of East Anglia. They’ve been performing at the Maddermarket Theatre for 8 years selling out the bar events and packing the main auditorium to rave reviews and happy audiences.
The Hooligans are a non-profit making organisation who cover their running costs and raise money for local charities. In previous years raising money for mental health charities and recently for Covid relief charitable causes.
The Hooligans are set to go further afield to other parts of East Anglia over the course of the next several months.
