Mama Oh No continue to rise, after their debut LP being released last year by HMV’s new label 1921 Records, and touring the UK. This year is busy too, with lots of gigs, and incredible new singles galore. Crunchy, fuzzy, surfy, wobbly soulful 60s inspired stuff, with great harmonies and incredibly catchy songs. The best live band in the area. Whatever area they happen to be in. This will be a special set, with appropriately special guests. Miss it at your peril.
RAVENOUS HOUNDS
Ravenous Hounds have been scaring the East Anglian locals for a few years now, and in their previous incarnations as Savage Island, The All Drunk Orchestra, Jukebox Jonah & The Random Rummies, and many other names that I’m struggling to remember, but who’ll live forever in the pit of my stomach. A powerhouse of scuzzed up garage-rock-n-roll with plenty of strange bits to keep your imagination occupied.
ODD CREATURES
Odd Creatures do the girl/boy drums/guitar duo thing with enough energy for a 5 piece band. Crunchy delta blues, but with super bangy drums to power it along.
MR JASON
Mr Jason will be playing whatever he likes on record players in the bar, to soundtrack your drinking and chatting perfectly. Will it be all Christmas themed tunes? Probably not, but maybe he’ll throw in a few, just to quell the demand..
