Liqueur began as a tongue-in-cheek idea in 2006: a food-themed Cure tribute band.
After playful puns like “A Forest Gateaux,” the group sobered up and chose a more traditional path—though the name stuck. Formed by Norfolk music veterans Mark, Daz, and Chris, they evolved from Britpop roots into a Cure tribute act, debuting in 2007. With Gary and later Si joining, Liqueur became a five-piece band.
