LFay, a 22-year-old lyricist and vocalist from rural Norfolk, blends old-school hip-hop with urban jazz, drawing inspiration from icons like Amy Winehouse, Little Simz, Etta James, MF Doom, and Notorious B.I.G. Her sound, which incorporates elements of new-wave jungle and drum and bass, bridges genres and captivates polarized audiences.
Having garnered significant industry attention, LFay’s music has received multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 and earned her a support slot with American hip-hop legends Arrested Development.
