Benedicts is a neighbourhood restaurant with classic values, serving modern, sophisticated food in a relaxed environment. The three pillars of the restaurant’s ethos are seasonality, the dining experience as a whole and story-telling through every dish. Norfolk is a tour de force in agricultural, seafood and meat production, so there is a huge emphasis on local and seasonal produce. The same enthusiasm and attention to seasonality is evident also in our wine and drinks list.
Richard opened Benedicts with his wife Katja in June 2015. Since opening, Benedicts has been named in The Times Top 100 Restaurants in the UK, Square Meal Top 100 and EDP Norfolk’s Best Restaurant, alongside a rating of 6 in the Good Food Guide. Benedicts was awarded 3 AA Rosettes in January 2018.

Currently, Benedicts serves two Tasting Menus – a five course menu at £59 and an eight course menu at £74. Vegetarian, Pescatarian and Vegan Menus are available on request and all dietary requirements can be catered for. They also offer a fantastic Set Lunch at £28 and a three course Children’s Menu at £17.50.
