It has just been announced that a crowd of approximately 30,000 people attended the Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre on Sunday 12th July 2026.
This much-loved annual event was treated to some excellent sunny weather throughout the day and it is believed that approximately £800,000 was spent in the local economy, with many of the local stallholders having a sensational day.
The Norwich Lanes is the largest city centre, all independent business community in the UK and is remarkably run by a series of volunteers, including shop keepers and local business people throughout the year.
The Fayre itself was packed full of independent street markets selling handmade art, vintage clothing and street food from some of Norfolk’s finest vendors plus live music spots and DJ Collectives around every corner and some sensational pop-ups too.

A Norwich Lanes spokesperson said: ” It really is fantastic that so many visitors entered the Lanes on such a special day and hopefully many will now return along with friends throughout the rest of the year.”
The Norwich Lanes Association would like to thank the Summer Fayre’s key sponsors; Norwich University of the Arts (NUA), Norwich City Council, Norwich Business Improvement District (BID), and Norwich Arts Centre too.
And a special thank you to all our volunteers, plus each and every one of you who came along and helped make the day so enjoyable.
