Trading since 1988 and located in a 500-year-old medieval weaver’s house Inanna’s Festival offers a vibrant and constantly changing mixture of fascinating and unusual items, drawing on world cultures and heritage, spiritual traditions and ecological and environmental
themes as well as folklore, fairytale, magic and mythology, you will find bookshelves stuffed with an electic selection covering East Anglian folktales, Viking and Norse, Celtic, Egyptian, Tibetan, African, Indian and Native American lore covering healing traditions, dreams and symbolism, tarot and runes, pendulums and crystals, incense, candles, essential oils, music and so much more. How can it all fit in a tiny weaver’s house?
Mail order is available through the shop website but a visit is much more fun! Local authors, craft-makers, sculptors and jewellers have been an integral part of Inanna’s as has been the emphasis on being a local resource for events, practitioners, body-workers and health and wellbeing specialists. With Samantha at the helm since 2025, (entrepreneur in various businesses for 10 years around Norwich, born and bred in the fine City of Norwich and a massive fan of the canaries), when original owner Naomi retired, the shop still retains the unique feel and the diverse and inclusive themes of stock and welcomes everyone by offering items to suit every spiritual path and lifestyle.
From Chanukah Dreidels to Diwali cards, from Chinese New Year money envelopes to Eid cards, with everything from Patchouli to Palo Santo, Frankincense and Copal resins to Rose Petals, from Solstice, Equinox, Moon Cycle and seasonal themes to East Anglian Green Man, Hare, Raven and Goddess statues, there’s something for everyone!
