Originally opening in December 2005 they kept on finding new exciting products and have since grown to be East Anglia’s Premier Knitting and Fibre Craft Store. They stock new vibrant ranges every season that will inspire the creative talent in their customers, as well as providing practical advice and problem solving.
A recent move to new larger premises in the Norwich Lanes has allowed them to take on new lines and diversify in fibre crafts and patchwork. The rejuvenation of fibre crafts such as knitting, crochet, felting, spinning, weaving and sewing, (patchwork in particular) ‘Norfolk Yarn’ has seen a substantial increase in numbers wishing to learn these skills. They have now developed their existing range of courses, introducing a new patchwork course, by inviting specialist guest instructors to teach the workshops.
Specialising in using high quality natural fibres such as pure wool, alpaca, silk, cashmere and cotton, they research to stock ranges that include hand dyed, ethically produced, organic and British yarns where possible. Their original business concept was to source good quality natural fibres, British and from around the world, presenting them for Knitters and Fibre Crafters alike to enjoy.
