Soundclash Records is truly unique and one of the oldest independent record stores in the country. No wonder then that people visit from miles around and that touring bands regularly pop by to pay homage to this wonderful shop.
Proprietor Paul Mills has worked in record shops his entire working life including at the legendary Backs Records in Swan Lane, before he opened Soundclash on St Benedict’s Street in February 1991. It’s therefore no surprise that Paul is seen as something of an oracle when it comes to records, both old and new.
In store today you’ll find a brilliant mix of new vinyl releases and old classics alongside a small selection of preloved records and hand picked CDs. It’s also the best place in Norwich to find out about upcoming gigs and if you’re lucky, you can purchase your tickets there too.
